This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

“Rust in Peace” has kept me busy during social distancing. It has been a challenge and a joy to paint.This is a real scene out of San Francisco of live plants in a very unusual planter. It almost explains why you just can’t throw some things away. It was so full of color, texture and ingenuity that it begged to be painted. Whether you are a gardener or a car person, I hope you will be humming Ronnie Milsap’s song “ Lost in the 50’s Tonight”.

Carol Sue Witt I have had the pleasure of painting & studying the art of transparent watercolor since attending U of MD in the late '60's. Whenever I painted in acrylic, I found I liked thinning the medium to allow some transparency...which lead me to watercolor pigments. As a founding member of the St. Louis Watercolor Society, a signature member of Texas Watercolor Society and a past member of Southwest Watercolor Society, I have been in the company of some truly masterful painters. My home studio is in Austin, Texas where an active Art community including my weekly paint partners and the Waterloo Watercolor Group offer me many opportunities for new inspiration in this medium.
